Training

As a company we believe that training is the cornerstone of having a professional care team. We employ our own in-house and external training managers, who are fully qualified in the areas they train.

We ensure our training stays relevant, focused and up to date with new regulations. More importantly our in-house courses are designed to equip the carer with appropriate skills to help them deliver high quality professional care services.

We deliver the spectrum of courses required by the Care Council for Wales and CSSIW, this is backed up by a fully equipped training room where staff come to receive training. Where appropriate and necessary training is also given on site for client’s moving and handling where clinical needs are slightly different from the normal.

A full induction training programme is delivered to all of our staff in conjunction with the local college and in-house; as designed by the Care Council for Wales, which interfaces with their level 2 in Health and Social Care. It is company policy that after the probation period of six months, all care staff, who do not hold any qualification, will automatically be put forward for their basic Health and Social Care training level 2.

The direct experience of the every day challenges of delivering care in the community, ensures our training stays relevant, focused and up to date with new regulations. Most importantly our in-house courses are designed to equip the carer with appropriate skills to help them deliver high quality professional care services.
